This is from my friend who is expecting her second baby in February. She registered with Target and got a really nice FREEBIE!
With Target there are 2 ways to register.
Online:
Go to target.com, mouse over “Registries” (upper right corner) and when the menu opens, click on the blue “create” link. The next page asks you to log in or create a new account, then you enter or proof read your information. Once that is done, items can be added to the registry by searching for them or using one of the “create a registry” options that include a pre-set list of items baby needs.
The second way to register is to use the in store kiosk. The process is the same as online, but instead of adding items standing at the kiosk, you walk through the store with a scanner. If you do this, you always have the option of logging into the account online and adding more items. The customer service desk will give you a welcome kit.
If you register online, you can go to the customer service desk and ask for the “welcome kit”. They will ask you to go to the kiosk and print out your registry so they can link it to their system.
You will need to log into your registry to do this, if on Target.com you use your Amazon.com account to start your registry, you will be able to use that to log in at the Target store.
You do have the option of adding more items using a store scanner or not changing your registry. Since Target online and Target stores have different items, I suggest you take the scanner and walk around a bit.
Here’s what she received:
This is everything that comes in the tote
This is what was inside the huggies
