I had no end of month report for June as we were $21.84 over budget for that month I wasn’t the most happy person, but then I realized I pushed coupon shopping in June, so that’s probably how that happened! lol I won’t do that again for sure!

For the month of July, I visited 5 stores for deals and coupon shopping. These stores are CVS, Winn Dixie, $ Tree, Walmart and the newest addition is Target. They just opened a Target in my area, so now I have to fit them into my deal shopping, along with at least $5 for Starbucks! We visited Target on July 30th and purchased $77.87 in product. We walked out smiling after paying only $7.75 out of pocket! This is our best shopping trip to date!

The amount of food/household items purchased for July came to $489.94!!!
TOTAL Savings (discounts and coupons) come to $263.77 ($201.50 in coupons which include gift cards and $62.27 in discounts, sales, b1g1 deals) That’s a total savings of 53.84%!
Total Out Of Pocket = $245.59
Leaving us with $4.41 left in our budget

Much better than May and June! lol This amount was a WOW factor for us this month! We have NEVER purchased so much before! This proves that I’m getting better every single month!

Our budget was $221.85 for the month of May and although I am happy to say we stayed within our budget, I am not happy to say we have $0 left to add to this month’s budget or save! I mentioned that I was going to start a savings account and add what’s left from the budget to it, but that never happened! I’m hoping we can do that starting this weekend 6/3/11!

Now for the drum roll!………..We topped April!!

The amount of food/household items purchased for May came to $470.27!!! That was one WOW factor for us this month! We have NEVER done that! Of course that’s only a total savings of 46.28%, but I’m getting better every month! The other WOW factor was the $145 purchase down to $50 before tax! (it kind of felt like I was on “Extreme Couponing”) lol

Last month I told you I raised my budget to $225 because of the raise in food prices, but I have come to realize that I should push it to $250 so when we have 5 weeks in a month, I don’t have to change the budget (like I did for this month to $280), so our food/household items budget is now $250……with the exception of December because that’s Christmas and my daughter’s birthday, so I’m allowing $300!

Now on with the monthly report!

In 2010, I was doing the monthly savings report, but after the summer and things started to get hectic I just gave up! So I am bringing it back since things seem to be getting better and I can concentrate more. I’ve paid more attention to March’s purchases so I’m starting 2011 savings with March. I have increased our budget from $150 to $225 simply because the stores are increasing their prices due to the gas prices going up! I tried really hard to stay within that budget and I am very proud to say that I stayed on budget and saved $114.93 on top of it!

The amount of food/household items I purchased for March came to $315.54!

TOTAL Savings (discounts and coupons) come to $114.93
Total Out Of Pocket = $200.61
Leaving $24.39 left on the budget!
Savings rate is 36.42%!

My highlight purchases are:
10 Trial Sized Secret Clinicals……$2.47 ea I had 12 $2 off ANY Secret Clinical Coupons (expired 3/31/11)…….did not exclude trial size product, making them $.47 ea! $2.47×10=$24.70-$20 in coupons = $4.70 less than a full sized deodorant!

4 Purex 2 in 1 $.97 ea = $3.88, used 4 $3 off coupons leaving an overage of $8.12!

WOW! I checked my budget spending and saving for the last 3 months and well, lets just say I’m not that happy with it, so I’ll try to change a few things in April!

The amount of food/household items purchased for March was $369.34!

Coupon savings was $52.91.
TOTAL Savings (discounts and coupons) come to $132.39
Total Out Of Pocket = $236.95! ($7.52 less than February)
Leaving $13.05 left on the budget!
Savings rate is 35.85%!

How do I do my monthly grocery report?
I am using the Excel 2010 savings tracker I posted about HERE. To do tax, just include it with the Shelf Life.

I thought I’d include a monthly report on my journey to earning online.

According to paypal, I have earned $52.89!!

What hasn’t been reported is money I earned from eHow.com ($15.46) for the month of January (will be deposited by the 10th of February) so it will be included in Feb. earnings, the $10.99 I earned on Bowlingforcash. Waiting for proof of payment before posting about this site, it’s a 30 day delay payout, so I expect to see that payment at the end of February, that would have brought my $52.89 up to $79.34 if that had been deposited in January.
