This is my second post on the NuWave Oven I received thanks to the Pitch List. I will have one more post on it along with a giveaway! So keep an eye out for it!

My husband and I do not buy expensive meat. We got lucky and found NY Strip steak on at a very good deal at Winn Dixie! My husbands favorite meat cuts are Rib Eye, NY Strip and Sirloin.

First my husband took the NY Strips and seasoned them with Spike Seasoning Magic Onion Powder and Meat tenderizer (see our review post and giveaway here). He then placed them on the 4″ rack in the NuWave  Oven and set the timer for 7 minutes. The timing sheet that came with the oven says for 2″ thick steak cook for 7 minutes on each side. After 14 minutes, we had some awesome steaks!

One thing I have to say, which I realized last night after using the NuWave Oven for a Ham (that’s the giveaway post to come) that I believe this oven actually intensifies the flavor of the food! My husband is a good cook, don’t get me wrong, but the flavor of the steaks we had and the ham last night were out of this world!

I didn’t take a pic of the meal, totally wasn’t thinking, but we had a baked potato with it and salad.

I have been asked by other blogging friends if it is worth it.  They either don’t have counter space for it or don’t want to spend that much money on it unless they know this is a good thing!  My reply is YES!  My counter space is limited, so I cleaned out my pot cabinet to make room!  Believe me, I threw away a lot of containers to make room!

Seriously…if you do not have a NuWave Oven you should!
I know this is on several Christmas Wish Lists!
