November is over and I did really good with the budget which included our Thanksgiving meal.
I added what I spent, and compaired that to my $75 allowance for food/household items per week and I spent $233.14!!!!! I did it! I actually stayed below my monthly budget!
I bought $309.68 worth of food/household items and My Out Of Pocket Total = $233.14! That’s a savings of $76.54! I think that’s fantastic for the month that included Turkey and trimmings for Thanksgiving!
My husband is actually cheering me on now! lol When I pulled out the coupons when we bought our Turkey, he was smiling!!! lol He loved watching that $24.68 total go down to $15.49!
Just to recap:
Total amount of food purchased was $309.68!!!
Total amount saved $76.54!!!
Total amount spent $233.14!!!!!
