Well, it’s official, I’m going to be a dad. Not only that, but we’re having a little girl. Is it too early to wrapped around her little finger even though we’ve yet to actually meet. Oh well, she will be a daddy’s girl for sure. Along with the pure excitement that I experienced when I found out that we were expecting, I must admit that there was a little terror in there as well. Not terror that something would go wrong or that she would not beautiful and prefect in everyway, but terror that I would not be able to continue to provide for my family. Add on top of that, the stress of finding out that it was a girl and my mind immediately started envisioning car payments, increased insurance premiums, expensive prom dresses, college tuition bills coming in. So what did I do? You got it, I sat down and took a scalpel to the family budget. Gone are the days of the expensive sports and movie packages on our tv and gone are the days of eating out everyday for lunch with my coworkers.
