uKnowKids ~ Monitor your Childrens Safety!

I don’t have young children well at least not now, in December I’ll have a new grand baby to care for :)   Anyway, I was happy to learn about uKnowKids as this is a computer/video generation of children coming up!  uKnowKids is a website that allows you to monitor your child’s safety both online (such as facebook), as well as text messaging! You can also monitor their activity when they aren’t at home.  That is fantastic!

uKnowKids give you information such as:

  • Recent friends added on Social Networking Sites
  • Time of Day reports
  • Top Contacts – know who your child is talking to the most
  • Daily Reports online and through eMail

It also includes:

  • Slang Translation
  • Text ‘lingo’ Translation
  • Contact/Message Searching – filter and search your child’s messages and contacts

I know I don’t like children under a certrain age on the computer with no supervision, there’s too many dangers lurking!  If I were to allow my grandchild on the computer, I’d have to have some type of security on it so I know they are safe!  

You may think having access to your children’s usernames and passwords is doing good, but it’s not! There is a delete button on the computer and kids do know how to use it to deletes messages between themselves and people they know their parents don’t think they should be talking to. uKnowKids would help you keep track of what they are doing and who they are talking to.

J3LL are the latest trend in watches!  J3LL are jelly watches that allow you to interchange the faces. You can mix and match nearly any color combination you can think of to match your t-shirt or handbag.  Attractive in adding style and  color to your outfit. They are  watches that can be  worn everyday.  The watches come in colors that can brighten up any outfit.

I received 2 watches unfortunately in the same shape – the “Rock” to review.  I did request 2 different shapes, so not sure what happened, so I only have a review on 1 shape!  My husband and I really liked the silicon straps because of the cool and comfortable feeling it gave.

Only 2 things I’m not feeling about the watches:

  1. I don’t believe these watches are water-resistant. It is not mentioned on their website, so I would keep it away from any water.
  2. The faces are really bigger than I expected it to be but they would look smart with casual wear.

The coolest thing about this watch is that it’s extremely easy to change out the face. Just take out the face from band and put it in the next colorful band! Teenagers will love these to match with different outfits!

Guylian Belgian Gourmet Chocolates Review and Giveaway

Back on December 9th, I made a post that UPS had just dropped off some YUMMY chocolates!  Ya’ll know just how excited I was when we received the Guylian Belgian Gourmet Chocolates! Well, I hadn’t tasted them when I made that post.

These Chocolates are better than YUMMY! I don’t think there are even words to describe the elegant, non-sweet taste of these tasty treats! I tell you it’s like having a little piece of heaven in your mouth and it’s hard to eat one and not go back for more! lol

I broke open the first 2 piece box of chocolates and offered my husband one.  Man are these delicious!  I am wanting some just writing this post! lol  My husband and I loved how they didn’t have that sweet taste like other candy does.  It was so smooth and melted in our mouths.

 

The dark chocolate was also smooth and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and sweet rather than bitter like some dark chocolates have.  After floating down from heaven, I decided unless I wanted to gain more weight from eating every single box, I’d better stash some for Christmas gifts – I’m not crazy I kept some!

After giving the chocolates out for Christmas, I was told just how good they were! Everyone said they were so delicious and not sweet!  One thing in particular that was mentioned about the sugar free candy was the lack of aftertaste like most sugar-free chocolates have. The sugar-free sweetener used in this Guylian chocolate bars is maltitol. Maltitol is the best, tastiest sugar-free sweeteners there is, so if you have to eat sugar-free over real chocolate, this is the brand to get!

 

These would be a perfect gift for Valentines day, birthday’s, mother’s day, basically any reason to give chocolates!  Guylian has become my favorite candy!  Yes I do have a favorite I only get around Christmas, but these Chocolates I will take any day of the week! :)

Tide Cold Water Laundry Detergent Review ~Swapping from Warm to Cold~

I was offered the opportunity to participate in The Tide Cold Water Program with SheSpeaks.com and well, I jumped at it!  My mother always used Tide detergent and so did I until the price started to get so high I couldn’t afford it anymore.  But I got pretty lucky with couponing I can now purchase Tide for around $3!  YAY!!  lol  Whoops back to the review!

My mother sorted the clothes, I mean cold, warm, hot (towels and whites) and it seemed like it took her forever to do laundry!  I don’t sort the clothes!  Well, I do, but not like my mother did. lol  I sort them as Towels (hot), and then I toss all the other laundry in the washer!  I put the laundry detergent in and turn the machine on. Yep my clothes mingle in the washer and yes it takes forever to dry, but hey everything is clean! lol

To help get clothes cleaner in cold water, Tide has formulated a new ColdWater Laundry Detergent that washes clothes better than other detergents do in warm or hot water. Using Tide ColdWater you can save energy and money when you switch to cold, not to mention clothes typically last longer when washed in cold water. :) A company that wants to help the consumer save money while doing laundry! Isn’t that nice! :)

By using Tide Cold Water this week, I’ve noticed, my clothes are cleaner, softer and smell awesome!  The detergent even got a stain out of my husbands work Jacket!  I totally forgot to take a picture of it though :(   I highly recommend Tide Cold Water Detergent!

Kernel Season’s Popcorn Seasonings ~Review and Giveaway~ US 12.31.11

I was given the chance to do a review and offer a giveaway of Kernel Season’s popcorn seasonings. Let me just tell you, my popcorn maker was not working!  I wasn’t happy, so I had to wait to get a working popcorn maker to try my new goodies! lol  This is the reason this is a late review!  When I finally got a working popcorn maker, and was able to try this, I can only say in the words of Rachel Ray “YUM-O”!

My husbands favorite was the Milk Chocolate Caramel and I LOVED the Pumpkin Spice flavor.  I love popcorn and the idea of all of the different seasonings they sell to put on your popcorn is really intriguing to me. I’m glad I got to try the new flavors!  I myself personally wouldn’t have bought them, thinking that pumpkin wouldn’t taste good on popcorn, WRONG!  A little sprinkle goes a long way and my boring old popcorn is now something unique!

Kernel Season’s currently has eighteen (18) different types of seasoning which you can purchase HERE including white cheddar, ranch, apple cinnamon, barbeque, cajun, chili lime, chocolate marshmallow, jalapeno, sour cream and onion, pumpkin spice, milk chocolate caramel and more. Kernel Season’s Milk Chocolate Caramel   I am quite fond of anything chocolate and but not caramel related, but to put both flavors on my popcorn is a real taste sensation, without a bunch of sugar…  You can also enjoy this flavor in your coffee!
