To my unborn grandchild I’ll never meet

How very softly you tiptoed into our world, almost silently, only a moment you stayed.

We are going to be Grandparents!

On April 3rd our daughter and son in law gave us some news that we were sworn to secretsy on.     Well, they let the cat out the bag and so they have lifted the restrictions on his mother and me!     Our daughter is going to be a MOMMY and our son in law a DADDY!    The whole family (both sides) are excited about it! 

I posted on Facebook over the weekend, but I waited for today to post on the blog, because I really don’t do much on the blog over the weekend.

Now the picking of the names, I have NO clue what I want the baby to call me! lol  I’m too young to be a grandmother!  At least that’s what I’m telling myself!  ;-)   I’ve thought about Mimi, but I don’t want the baby to think that’s my name, lol that’s what it sounds like to me.  Brian said Gramps, so I’ve been calling him that to get him use to it.  LOL He just looks at me now!

They are 6 weeks Pregnant, Wednesday 4.18.12 will be 7 weeks!  The baby is due on Dec 4th!
I can’t believe another December baby! lol My daughter was born on Dec 17th, 29 years ago! I told my daughter a lot in the last few weeks about this and that, I also told her if the baby isn’t born on Dec 4th, not to freak out, but try to hold out until 12/12/12! LOL That would be an awesome birth date! In reality, I’m anxious for December 4th to get here!  What a wonderful Christmas and Anniversary gift for the two of them!  Yep they were married on December 26th, 2010!

Anyone have any updated suggestions for grandparents?  We don’t want anything that sounds too old, at least I know I don’t and I know my son in law’s mother doesn’t! lol  If you have any suggestions, please leave a comment.  Thanks!

Today is my brother’s birthday!  He’s turned another year older, which means he’s another year wiser!  He’s the best brother a girl could ask for!
