Davy Jones had his last performance on February 19th in Oklahoma — the night before, he performed “Daydream Believer” and “It’s Nice to Be with You” at the BB King Blues Club in NYC … and he looked totally fine (video below).

It breaks my heart to post this. Davy Jones, Lead Singer of The Monkees,  died after suffering a heart attack this morning in Florida. Jones was 66.

Jones is survived by his wife Jessica and four daughters from previous marriages.

Jones joined The Monkees in 1965, with Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork.

I was a fan since I can remember.  He was the cutest and he was my very first crush, puppy love what ever you want to say!  I stopped whatever I was doing when ever he came on the TV.  I loved his voice and his songs!  I’ll always be a Davy Jones Fan!

It saddened me Saturday evening to find out that my all time favorite singer had passed away!  I remember when I first heard her voice, I tried my best to sing like her, but could NEVER hit those notes!  I remember going to see “The Body Guard” with my husband as a mother’s day gift.

After seeing “The Body Guard”, I got the Cassette tape and would play it when I’d go shower.  “I’m Every Woman” became my song!  I will Always Love You reminds me of my ex and my husband. “The Greatest Love of All” reminds me of my daughter!

She had a voice of an angel.  Girls would listen to her music while going through something in their life that was upsetting.  I know my daughter and I did.  I found out today that a reader listened to her songs during a not so happy time in her life.  Whitney gave so much through her music and it’s hard to believe that this iconic legendary diva is gone!  She was an inspiration to all upcoming singers and those of us who just wanted to be like her in some way.

Yes she got mixed up with the wrong people, but she has a beautiful daughter Bobbi Kristina, an upcoming actress and singer as well, who hopefully will continue in her career.  We will always love Whitney Houston.  God Bless her and Rest her soul.

Michelle Duggar mother of 19 kids and star of the reality show 19 kids and counting received devastating news at a routine check-up Thursday to find out the sex of their 20th child, their doctor was unable to find a heartbeat and told the couple they had miscarried in the second trimester.

She says

“the family will select a name after they know if the baby was a boy or girl, and then plan to have a funeral service.

“I feel like my heart broke telling my children,” says Michelle. “They have all been so excited about this baby and looking forward to April coming around and having a new little one in our arms. That was the most difficult. The Lord is the giver of life and he can choose when that life is ready to go on and be with Him.”

This was their second miscarriage; Michelle lost her baby during her second pregnancy. She was taking oral birth control at the time and cites this as one reason the couple together decided to leave the number of children they have “up to God.”
