My Rouse & Walmart Trips (11/7 and 11/8)

Our Rouse Trip:
We went to Rouses on Saturday for our weekly meat run. They also had their holiday taste test going on. Let me tell you anyone who hasn't had Turduchen, must TRY it! We had a sample of both (fixed with rice and fixed with cornbread) and it was so good! We wanted to buy one, but there's no way I'd spend that much money on a SMALL bird! We also sampled wine, pecan pie and some spicy crab dip!

Anyway, here are my deals:

20 (2 pk) sausage biscuits, Pork Chops (5pk), (2pk)Sirlon Steak, Ground Meat (1 1/2lbs),Moma Rosa (2pk) Pepperoni Pizza's All for $19.95!!
we spent a total of $32.28 That's not bad considering what was with the $19.95 5pk deal would have easily cost us $30!



Our Walmart Trip!
We went to Walmart before the Saints/Carolina Game (8-0 SAINTS)!

I had coupons to use and they had a few deals and a surprise for our daughter! lol :) Spent $8.76 Saved $6.80 with coupons!

(2)Campbell's Select Harvest Soups $1.50 (used 2 $1/1 coupons) $.50 ea

(used 2 $2/1 coupons IE or FF)$.97 ea
Heinz Gravy (Turkey) $.75 SALE
Sprite $1 (Sale)
Captian Crunch Christmas Crunch Cereal $2 (My daughter loved this cereal when she was small and it's hard to find now that she's an adult!)



Other food/household purchases not on sale or used a coupon came to a total of $46.17. Giving us a total of $54.93 at Walmart!

Total spent between Rouses and Walmart $87.21! $12.21 over my budget, but that's what happens when I go shopping with my husband! He puts stuff he wants in the basket, not on the list and well, I can't say no can I?! lol

There will be less spent next week.
